I am an undergraduate Conservation and Resource Studies major specifically focused on the ecological and social dynamics of environmental issues. Rivers have always been important to me, and through classes and research, I’ve become fascinated in their role as an ecosystem. Specifically, I am passionate about the impacts that a changing global climate have, and will have, on freshwater food-webs and community interactions. By studying ecology in the context of environmental change, I aim to develop a better understanding of how such change will alter and harm the natural world. I look forward to being a part of the Ruhi lab and am grateful for the opportunity to explore and pursue my interest in freshwater ecosystem ecology!
