I am interested in how we interact with and manage our forests and how these behaviors affect our ability to manage wildland fires. Since California’s problems with wildfire are human caused I believe that the ability to live in this fire prone landscape depends on the ability to create new management solutions that apply science. To that end I am interested in working with managers to create products that will enable us to better manage our forests and the fires that shape them.
