Project Description: 

Concerned about bees? Curious what role pesticides play in their decline? This project is for you! We have two field studies looking at pesticides found in bees, flowers, and soils from CA agriculture. This semester we'll be analyzing the data and interpreting the results in the relation to current scientific literature.

Undergraduate's Role: 

Conducting pieces of a literature review on bees and pesticides; i.e. finding, reading, synthesizing, and discussing scientific articles in relation to results from our field studies. Some data organization and potentially data analysis, too

Undergraduate's Qualifications: 

Some familiarity with finding/reading scientific articles preferred, some statistical skills preferred. Mostly just a passion for reading, learning, and discussing! Excitement about sustainability and/or bees is a plus
