Project Description:

This research is examining the interaction of trade policy and environmental outcomes. Within that broader research agenda, assistance is sought with setting up remote sensing (satellite) air pollution data for analysis. This research project has gridded data on air pollution across the globe. This data needs to be linked to population data, in order to calculate air pollution for the average person in each country. This work can be done remotely from anywhere and meetings will be done by zoom. The project also involves Katherine Wagner, a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford who will join Berkeley ARE's faculty in July 2021.
