Project Description: 

Asians have a unique history in California, including in higher education. In this project, we will focus on Asian American women on the UC Berkeley campus, exploring their representations and experiences in diverse disciplines from STEM to Humanities, and at various academic and professional levels, including undergraduate and graduate students, professors, administrative, and staff members.

Undergraduate's Role: 

Apprentices will take a journalistic approach in assisting the planning of a workshop discussion and participating as an interviewer or interviewee. The discussion will take place remotely and recorded. At the end of the semester, a video will be produced and published on the 150 Year Women Project website, http://150w.berkeley.

 

Undergraduate's Qualifications: 

Apprentices should be interested in the experiences and contributions of Asian American women. Experience in video production is desirable.
