Project Description:

In this project I aim to assess recent economic research on controversial farm programs, including crop insurance, biofuels, and food security, at Land Grant Universities.

This work is intended to prepare for a paper assessing the performance and orientation of agricultural economic research in these areas from the viewpoint of different stakeholders. Depending on student preparation I may ask the student to perform some preliminary analysis of the data collected, including perhaps methods introduced by Data Science.
