The virus and spam protection mechanisms in place on nature have evolved largely without input from you, the folks with accounts on nature. While this has been workable in general, it has long been a goal to offer individuals a choice on how detected (or mis-detected) unwanted messages are handled. When a good piece of email (aka, "ham") is blocked by mistake, the value of the entire blocking effort is questioned. On the other hand, when a piece of spam leaks through to our INBOX, we need a way to report it.

Maia Mailguard -- a web based application that allows each of us to control our filtering and reporting options. Detected mal-mail is saved for a period of time allowing you to view and dispose of it as you wish.

You can also adjust your filtering options, e.g. to "opt out" of all of nature's filtering. I've set the defaults to match the system options that are in place on nature now.
