Nuritamburia Koçak & Kemal, 2007 (Tortricidae: Tortricinae:
Archipini)
[was Bradleyella Zimmerman, 1978]
According to Koçak & Kemal (2007), Bradleyella Zimmerman, 1978 (Insects of Hawaii 9:507) is an invalid name because it is a junior homonym of Bradleyella Krombein, 1963 [Hymenoptera],
published in Nova Guinea (Zool.) 22:629. These authors proposed the replacement name Nuritamburia. Walsingham (1907) originally described three species of this group as Tortrix. Zimmerman (1978) later
proposed the name Bradleyella for these plus two more species described by Swezey. There are five endemic Nuritamburia in Hawaii (and probably more).
