Wing pattern analysis of Hawaiian Cydia moths

There appear to be a limited number of wing pattern elements that turn on and off, but I am not sure what to call them all.

Not sure if I got the strigulae labeled quite right (particularly 2, 3, and 9)

The white "discal patch" is prominent in a lot of species. Below that is an "excrescence" (Walsingham) that connects the "medial fascia" with the "pretornal patch".

Which path do striae take? (below is another "clean" version of this photo)

Many species have a costal suffusion. What should I call this patch? Why does it end near the fold?

Are the striae the white continuation of the costal strigulae or the dark lines inbetween?

When there is no costal suffusion there is often a medial fascia (?) that normally forms the distal border of the triangular costal patch.

How do I talk about the absence of pigments along the dorsal margin?
