ESPM 134: Fire, Insects and Diseases in Forest Ecosystems
Dr. Brandon Collins (ESPM), Dr. Ignacio Chapela (ESPM), Dr. Nick Mills (ESPM)
3.0 Units | Spring semester
This course provides insight into the importance of fire, insects and diseases in forest ecosystems through lectures, discussion sessions, and field trips. In addition, we discuss how humans affect wildland ecosystems through both direct (forest management) and indirect (travel, air pollution, commerce, etc.) actions that change the roles of these agents.
