Friday, September 20: Cal Students Draw the Line at Sather Gate

350.org is hosting an amazing event titled 'Draw the Line' to tell President Obama he must say no to the XL Keystone Pipeline. As students interested in the longevity of a healthy and productive planet, for us and generations to come, we must show our unified support letting everyone know that we draw the line here--at Sather Gate!

We have organized an event to take place on Friday, September 20 @ Sather Gate beginning around 12:10ish and lasting until 12:30. The event will be short, sweet, and simple, yet powerful. An image can say a thousand words, and so, we are planning to capture a special moment! Our vision is to create a 25ft banner that we will hold across Sather Gate with something along the lines of 'Cal Students Draw the Line on Keystone XL Pipeline' written on it. We will stand together and create awareness of this event for several minutes and try to capture a powerful moment with a professional camera and submit our event to 350.org's larger movement.
