We are hosting a symposium to celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Etosha National Park, Namibia, which was set aside as a game reserve on 22 March 1907. The Etosha Ecological Institute was formally opened on 1 April 1974, heralding an era of adaptive management based on scientifically conducted research.

The symposium will be held at the Mokuti Lodge. A block of rooms at a special conference rate will be held until 31 March 2007. Please book early for best rates and availability.

We have timed the symposium to precede the 21st Annual Meeting of the Society for Conservation Biology, which will be held in South Africa. We hope that you will be able to join us.
