Urban Studies Major, Food Systems Minor Class of 2019

My passion for creating healthier, more resilient communities through the implementation of sustainable food systems stems from my interest in the intersectionality between city planning and public health. Focusing on regional issues such as housing and transportation–and the social and economic barriers they pose to certain communities, I am a strong advocate of regional and community development measures around food policy that work to improve the quality of life of its residents.
