Undergraduates
UC Berkeley undergraduate students can get involved in the lab’s research by applying to work in my group through campus programs, such as URAP and SPUR. Openings for these programs will be posted on the respective websites.
Graduate Students
Currently enrolled Cal graduate students who are interested in joining the lab may apply to support specific projects as graduate student researchers (openings listed below). We also work with graduate students who want to do their Practicum or Capstone project in the lab. Generally, graduate students in my lab are pursuing a master degree with a strong background in nutrition/dietetics, epidemiology and/or biostatistics.
Postdoctoral Fellows
Inquiries from potential postdocs with overlapping interests are welcome. Potential opportunities to fund a postdoc in my lab include the UC President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program, USDA AFRI Postdoctoral Fellowship and Ford Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship. I am open to discussing other funding options identified by prospective postdocs.
