Anaya is a second-year PhD student in the Energy and Resources Group researching the economic feasibility and environmental impact of scaling up applications of composted organic material on grasslands. As both an InFEWS and DS421 Fellow, she is interested in linking ecological, social and data sciences to model resilient food system dynamics. Prior to joining ERG, Anaya attended Tufts University where she earned a Master of Science in Agriculture, Food and Environment. Anaya also holds a B.A. in Human Biology from Stanford University. Outside of her research, she enjoys gardening, hiking, and sharing meals with friends.
