Lab Technician
Department:

I am a technician working with Christine O’Connell to run a greenhouse gas/redox sampling array in the El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico. Since graduating from Skidmore College in 2015, I have assisted with research in several different ecosystems. In 2015-2016 I completed an AmeriCorps term with a non-profit organization restoring fire-adapted prairies in Western Washington, and before that I was a research assistant at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory. In college, I studied abroad in Panama and discovered that while I am from snowy upstate New York, I love the tropics. I am endlessly fascinated by new places and systems and excited to be back in a tropical forest! In my spare time, I enjoy playing music, exploring the outdoors, and worrying about global change.
