Nikhil is an undergraduate studying Chemical Biology with a minor in Earth and Planetary Sciences. He is interested in biogeochemical carbon and nutrient cycling in soil systems. His current research centers on the relationship between soil methanogenesis and iron reduction. He is a recipient of the 2019 SURF Rose Hills Independent research fellowship.
