Shane Russett is an undergraduate at UC Berkeley studying Atmospheric Science. He joined the Silver Lab in October 2019. His research interests center on carbon dioxide sequestration through land management. On a daily basis, he prepares and analyzes soil and gas samples from the field to determine the effectiveness of various climate change mitigation tactics. Outside of the lab, Shane is the Treasurer of the UC Berkeley Atmospheric Science Association.
