Zachary holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from the
University of Colorado, Boulder. His background includes working within
several research fields including biogeochemistry, soil and ecosystem
sciences along the Front Range of Colorado; urban ecology in the Denver
Metro Area; and dendrology in Eastern Oregon. Zachary joined the Silver Lab
as a lab assistant in April 2021. In the lab, he is exploring his research
interests in biogeochemistry and its potential impacts on Greenhouse Gas
reduction and increasing primary productivity.
