Community of Practice
Social Tools for Bio is scaling into a community of practice! Instructors at public higher education institutions in California are encouraged to apply to the program to build community across institutions, learn principles of iterative design for collaborative activities, and to build activities to share widely in our growing repository. Application review date is 12/1/2022 for the year-long 2023 cohort.
We are prioritizing applicants who are instructors of record for biology or other STEM courses in California Community Colleges, California State University, and University of California campuses, and who are interested in experimenting with and co-designing group-based learning modules in their classes.
