Grindstaff is a Research Associate at the Lawrence Hall of Science where she leverages her extensive experience in science and STEM education as an education researcher, evaluator, teacher educator, designer/provider of professional development for teachers, and classroom teacher (middle and high school). She earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum, Teaching and Educational Policy from Michigan State University, with a focus on science education utilizing issue-oriented, collaborative, and culturally relevant curriculum.
