Research Interests
I am interested in the complexities of studying and managing coupled human and natural systems under uncertainty. My research leverages methods from decision theory, ecology, and data science and spans systems from farms to forests to fisheries, seeking to examine how we think about both protection and production in a rapidly changing world.
Prior to joining the Brashares lab, I worked at the Woods Hole Research Center assessing the global climate mitigation contributions of agroforestry and exploring the socioeconomic and biophysical drivers of deforestation in the context of international climate finance programs. I received with bachelor’s degree from Yale University in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.
