Connie Zhang is an undergraduate student pursuing a B.S. in Environmental Sciences. She is passionate about ecosystem restoration, sustainable farming practices, and fisheries. In the past, she has worked with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as a Youth Conservation Corps leader and with Oregon Department of State Lands on a river restoration project. Currently, she also works as a research assistant at the Functional Anatomy Vertebrate Evolution Lab (FAVE) studying the effects of artificial damming on steelhead trout morphology. She is from Philadelphia and loves rock climbing, snowboarding, and country music.
