My research interests are strongly influenced by my desire to understand the dynamics between forests, wildfire, and climate feedback. My previous research has focused on fuel and vegetation dynamics in the Illilouette Creek Basin as well as understanding the long term effects of fuels reduction treatments on Sierran mixed-conifer stands. I am excited to continue exploring how forest restoration treatments can improve ecosystem resilience to wildfire and climate change.
