Being physically active is not only healthy for our body, but also for our mind. It is also protective against many chronic diseases. Below are the benefits of being active:

Helps provide energy throughout the day
Help keep muscles, joints, and bones strong which
protective against osteoporosis
Burns calories from food which helps you to maintain
a healthy weight
Helps improve mental health and well-being and reduce
feelings of depression and anxiety
Helps you to sleep better
Lower risk of breast, prostate, and colon cancers
Maintaining a healthy weight lowers your risk of
developing major chronic diseases such as diabetes,
heart disease, cancer, and hypertension and lower blood
Help reduce your risk of a stroke
