I am passionate about advancing methods to predict and manage changes in water resources, particularly in response to human and climate-driven influences. During my Ph.D., I am investigating how beaver restoration in the California Sierra Nevada influences water storage and river flow regimes under varying beaver densities and climate scenarios. By employing hydrologic modeling, my goal is to inform ongoing restoration efforts and enhance water security for California.
Before pursuing my Ph.D., I earned a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Spanish from Skidmore College, and conducted research on water resources with Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the U.S. Geological Survey. [Co-advised by Albert Ruhi]
