Project Description:

Project 2025 is a political mandate and guidebook written by the Hertitage Foundation and other right wing think tanks to reshape the federal government of the United States and consolidate executive power. This project examines how Project 2025 is further contributing to environmental inequality for historically marginalized populations. Environmental inequality refers to the unequal distribution of environmental hazards, resources, and benefits among different social groups, often based on factors such as race, class, and socioeconomic status. This reaserch asks in what ways is Project 2025 contributing to the unequal distribution of environmental hazards, resources, and benefits among different social groups.

Using content analysis, this project will identify particular policies and mandates that contribute to environmental inequality among different social groups to reveal how marginalized communities bear a disproportionate burden of Project 2025.
