Maria Saponari, one of the leading scientists in Italy studying the X. fastidiosa epidemic in olive trees, received the International Guido Dorso Award in Rome yesterday. It is a very well deserved recognition to a scientist that has already done a lot, in a short period of time, under very challenging conditions.
