Between Fall 2010 and Fall 2013 I taught Latin American Studies 470 (LTNS 470) at San Francisco State University.
In this class we analyzed current immigration theory and discuss historical, socioeconomic, legal, and political issues of Latin American immigration patterns to the U.S. The class is also designed to examine socioeconomic and political impact of documented and undocumented immigration to Raza communities and mainstream U.S. society.

Together with Omar Hernandez from the Haas School of Business I taught a class titled Business and Natural Resources: Sustainable Use of Ecosystems (ESPM298) during the Spring of 2013 and Fall of 2014. This class is jointly run by UC Berkeley's College of Natural Resources and Hass School of Business.
This course introduces sustainability concepts and incorporates them into the broader field of natural resource management. Using economic and ecological concepts students are expected to learn tools, and use them to solve practical natural resource management problems relevant to business and society at large. The course concentrates in four thematic fields: Economic Valuation, Ecosystem Services, Climate Change and Water. In particular, we will relate these topics to a business context. Students are expected to complete assignments distributed in class and based on real and relevant natural resource management problems.
