Water and Health in China and Beyond, Sep 3

Thursday, September 03, 2015

Water quality is a powerful determinant of health, and the prevention of water quality related diseases presents a critical global health challenge. This conference will bring together scholars and practitioners from the University of California, Berkeley and the Chinese Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CCDC), to discuss the latest research and developments related to water treatment, water management, disease prevention, and public health. Funding for the conference was generously provided by the College of Natural Resources, the Berkeley School of Public Health, and the Center for Chinese Studies- with co-sponsorship by the Fudan-UC Center on Contemporary China.

International and Executive Programs at the College of Natural Resources are committed to fostering new research and partnerships to address global challenges. We hope you will join us for "Water and Health in China and Beyond," on September 3rd in the Faculty Club.
