This seminar will discuss the application of physiologic approaches to advance our understanding of the effects of systemic signals on body composition. We will specifically focus on the impact of hormonal signals and dietary changes on adipocyte progenitor cells and adipose tissue as well as the implications of these effects for cellular and whole body metabolism.
