This guy is a genetic superman . . . this guy.

Ozzy Osbourne, aka the Prince of Darkness, the heavy metal rocker turns out to have a number of genetic mutations that may explain why he has lived so long. The Black Sabbath front man and nutty reality star is also well known for his inclination towards excess when it comes to drugs and alcohol consumption. Apparently changes in the regulatory region of the ADH4 gene (among others) impacts his susceptibility to drugs and alcohol. Ozzy was quoted as saying, “Given the swimming pools of booze I’ve guzzled over the years – not to mention all the cocaine, morphine, sleeping pills, cough syrup, LSD, Rohypnol, you name it – there is really no plausible medical reason why I should be alive.”
