Nobody needs a flesh-eating bacteria

Vibrio vulnificus, a rare bacteria that causes necrotizing fasciitis, aka “flesh-eating bacteria”, is becoming more common along the Gulf Coast of the US. It doesn’t actually eat your flesh but instead secretes toxins that cause your white blood cells to do the destroying.
