The Potts Group always welcomes inquiries from potential postdoctoral scholars, graduate students, and undergraduate students who share related research interests.
Exceptional prospective postdoctoral scholars should consider the UC President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program, Miller Research Fellowship or Philomathia Research Fellows Program.
Interested graduate students may apply to work with Dr. Potts through the graduate programs of the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management at UC Berkeley. Prospective graduate students are strongly encouraged to apply to following fellowship programs: National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program and National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowships. Undergraduate students may apply to work with the Potts Group through UC Berkeley’s URAP and SPUR programs. Undergraduate students interested in doing a senior thesis should read the Potts Group Undergraduate Thesis Guidelines before contacting Dr. Potts.
