Project Description:

This project is an on-going one based around my new book on Waste and extensions from it. It addresses how (and to what extent) wastes have become resources in our global economy - not just material to be discarded discreetly. Taking cases such as food waste and electronic waste and countries as diverse as the US, China and Mexico, it draws on data and analysis from local to global scales to understand how contemporary patterns of globalization are re-shaping the waste economy (again)
