Carol Tapia is the Latin American Research Manager of the Climate Futures Lab. By training, Carol is an environmental engineer and is currently completing her master’s in Sustainable Development and Climate Change at the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar. Carol has conducted research related to water resource management in varied Ecuadorian river basins with institutions such as FONAG and CONDESAN. In recent years, Carol has collaborated with Meg to research the long-term impacts of climate change adaptation projects in close partnership with Andean communities. Her research interest is focused on improving strategies for confronting climate change.
