Sara (she/her) is a first-year MS student in the Energy and Resources Group. She is interested in considering how marginalized communities are impacted by clean energy solutions. In particular, she is interested in exploring how knowledge from community members can inform understanding of cultural and political contexts in order to develop more equitable and impactful clean energy solutions. Prior to ERG, she received a BS in Environmental Engineering, a BA in the Plan II Honors program (think of it as an interdisciplinary liberal arts degree), and a
Certificate in Humanitarian Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
