Case Study Methods


For Masters and Dissertation Fellows, applications should include:

  • application form
  • 5-10 page (maximum) research proposal
  • projected budget
  • academic transcripts
  • three academic letters of reference
  • letter of support from the intended research partner community
  • current curriculum vitae

For Predissertation Fellows, applications should include:

  • application form
  • 3 page research proposal
  • letter of reference from your major advisor
  • academic transcript
  • current curriculum vitae

Deadlines/Awards Notification

Deadline: Monday, February 2, 2009..

Awards will be announced in mid April for activation in June or September.


Please Note:

When you have been accepted for a CFERP fellowship you are required to submit the following documents before the awared money will be granted:

  • IRB approval from your university
  • Tribal IRB approval or the equivalent (if you will be working with a Native American tribe)
