Zero Waste Youth Conference – March 18, 2018

The mission of Zero Waste Youth USA is to empower the next generation to create a zero waste future.

Inspired by our peers in Brazil, Sweden, and the Philippines, the Annual Zero Waste Youth USA Convergence is 2 day event dedicated to High School Students, College Students & Young Professionals to learn and collaborate for a zero waste future.

March 17th will be an informal community building beach cleanup day, while March 18th will be packed with keynote speakers, workshops, raffles, and more!

Our focus this year is Resilient Communities Fight Back: Equity in Zero Waste. Hear from an inspiring keynote speaker and presentations on zero waste equity topics from young professionals and community leaders.

 

 

Water Education for Latino Leaders (WELL) Conference (March 22-23 , 2018)

WELL is convening a state-wide educational water conference on March 22-23rd, 2018 in Sacramento for California local elected officials. Local elected officials can make a difference for all Californians by taking the necessary steps to understand the dynamic of California water to assure adequate clean water for our communities, protect our natural resources and our local economies. Our hope is to facilitate understanding towards comprehensive long-term water policies that will sustain California’s economy and quality of life. We invite you to participate!
