Kristen Flores is a UC Berkeley graduate in Chicanx/Latinx Studies and Conservation and Resource Studies with a focus in Agro-Entomology. As an aspiring agroecologist, she is passionate about developing agriculture that is environmentally and socially sustainable. Her previous research includes how traditional knowledges and community collectivity can create diverse and resilient agro-ecosystems. Her work demands that Latinx, Indigenous, and all marginalized people are centered in environmentalism. She loves exploring the outdoors, finding cool insects, and being immersed in community.
