I am an entomologist with a passion for science education and experience in different invertebrate groups–aquatic and terrestrial insects, and arachnids. I am particularly interested in systematics of arthropods and in the ecology of aquatic “true bugs” (Heteroptera). In the Ruhi Lab, I pursued my own feeding behavior research on Abedus indentatus (a “giant water bug” in the family Belostomatidae), and I supported the lab as a research technician in 2022.
Current position: Master’s student at the California Academy of Sciences.
