I am a PhD student at the University of Barcelona. My research is focused on the community ecology of macroinvertebrates and the main factors that shape these communities in temporary rivers, typical of the Mediterranean region. I am passionate about aquatic insect biology and taxonomy, especially flies and stoneflies.

I visited the Ruhi Lab in 2022 to learn about macroinvertebrate communities of California streams and methods for quantifying biodiversity at different spatio-temporal scales.
