I am an environmental scientist with a passion for freshwater and marine ecology. More specifically, I have an interest in aquaculture systems and their productivity, connection to biodiversity, and societal significance.
As lab manager and lab safety coordinator, I work directly with Professor Albert Ruhi, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers to increase the lab’s overall efficiency, as well as organize equipment needs and field surveys.
During my time at the Ruhi Lab, I have supported multiple research projects, engaging in stable isotope analysis and macroinvertebrate identification. More recently, I have co-led field surveys at Chalone Creek (Pinnacles National Park) for a long-term monitoring program which that to understand, through stream invertebrate sampling, the ecological consequences of flow intermittency.
