I am interested in the impacts of hydrologic extremes (floods and droughts) under a changing climate at different scales – from local sites to continents. To this end, I use process-based numerical models, stochastic models, and data-driven approaches. I am also interested in the interface of hydrological extremes and riverine ecosystem dynamics. My ultimate goal is to help find innovative ways of achieving sustainable water resource management.

In the Ruhi Lab, I was a postdoc in the SESYNC Pursuit  ‘Causality in Water Systems’ , aimed at understanding causal pathways within complex water management systems.
