I am an evolutionary ecologist interested in the life-history evolution of alternative traits of aquatic species. My research focused on how different salmonid species have evolved alternative migratory life-histories under varying environmental conditions to alternative defensive traits in estuarine three-spined stickleback (Gasterosteus aculeatus).

In the Ruhi Lab, my research focused on how drought can disrupt dynamics of metacommunities (stream invertebrates and three-spined stickleback) in intermittent streams at Pinnacles National Park.

Current position: Environmental Scientist at the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Water Branch.
