I am a data scientist trained in mathematics, and I focus on advancing data-driven approaches to understand ecological processes. I seek to infer biotic and abiotic interactions from ecological time-series data, using novel methods that allow detecting potential change in the strength and direction of these interactions (i.e., ‘parameter evolution’). I am also keen in the field of complex systems science, and in combining insights from indigenous knowledge and data science to advance real-world sustainability applications. More broadly, I support the Ruhi Lab in a range of data-intensive projects, advancing big data analyses and visualization tools. [co-advised with Stephanie Carlson]
