Sam Grubinger

Lab Technician

I am a transplant from Vermont and lab technician at the Silver Lab, working primarily on the Marin Carbon Project. I graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Environmental Sciences and my academic interests include sustainable agriculture, GIS and mapping, languages, and microbes. Before joining the Silver Lab I worked on research examining nitrogen losses from fertilizer applications in tropical crop systems. I am a photographer and potter and have too many houseplants, and I put the “Sam” in “sampling.”
