On a recent trip to the UC Botanical Garden to view a rare flowering Chiliean Bromeliad, we encountered some baby raccoons that appeared to be waiting around for their mother to return. Lilah had some definite opinions about them.
Raccoons make About 50 different vocalizations including purring, hissing, growling, grunting, etc. In the video they seem to be making the usual purring sounds made by “kits” and something that verges on alarm.
