My first semester at Cal has been a challenge, physically and emotionally. Nevertheless, it has given me an opportunity to grow and mature.
I chose CNR because it focuses on three of my profound interests: biology, environment, and the safety of people. As a Molecular Toxicology major, I am able to learn the beneficial and the toxic effects of foods, chemicals, drugs, and any exogenous forms that can be critical in our environment and to us.
I love being at CNR because of the small classes and the top of the line instructors. I am more than happy to be part this college, and I will do my very best to serve my peers.
In any case, here is a little something about me. Through my past two years at Modesto, I have been involved as a volunteer at San Joaquin River National Wildlife Refuge. As a volunteer, I was involved in planting trees, maintenance, and wood duck nest egg counting.
Furthermore, when I'm not burying myself into my textbook, I like to watch movies, watch hockey, karaoke, read comics, music, and run. Well, I will be looking forward on meeting you guys and let me know if I could be of any help or if you just need someone to talk too.
