Peer Advisor Profiles

I am a senior undergraduate expecting to graduate in spring 2008 with a B.S. in Environmental Economics and Policy (EEP) offered by the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics (ARE) within the College of Natural Resources (CNR) at the University of California, Berkeley (UCB or Cal, for California).

When I transferred to CAL from the College of Marin, I had questions for fellow students that I ended up asking my classmates since there was no EEP peer advisor at the time under the PAL program. Today, as a PAL, I try my best to answer such questions.

My research interests lie within the economics concerning energy, climate change, and intellectual property. I work as a research assistant under Ryan Kellogg at the U.C. Energy Institute, and under Ryan Wiser in the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory's Environmental Energy Technologies Division (LBNL, EETD). At LBNL and with Alex Farrell as my advisor for CNR's honors program, I'm currently researching the economic value of net metering in comparison to other tariffs for residential PV users under California's Solar Initiative. I play a leadership role in the Berkeley Energy & Resources Collaborative (BERC), as the undergraduate representative, so feel free to ask me any questions regarding energy or climate change as well!
